The Second Training School of the MSCA Doctoral Network TRACES is fast approaching. From Monday, September 23rd, to Friday, September 27th, doctoral researchers, beneficiaries, industrial partners, and the advisory board of TRACES will convene at the Institute of Fluid Mechanics at TU Braunschweig in Braunschweig, Germany.

Experts from academia, industry, and certifying agencies will deliver advanced training on in-flight icing, equipping TRACES doctoral students with the essential knowledge to achieve the goals of their cutting-edge research projects. These technical lectures will be public and streamed online. The agenda, along with Webex links to attend the open lectures, will be made available on the designated page: Second Training School

The week of the Training School will be enriched with additional activities. On Tuesday, doctoral researchers will present their progress on the Design & Certify Exercise, as well as their individual research projects in a poster session. This will provide an opportunity to discuss their work with other attendees. Four lab sessions will also be hosted at the ISM, where the researchers will receive an introduction to experimental techniques and knowledge that will support their future experimental campaigns.

The TRACES Training School offers a valuable opportunity for doctoral students to meet all academic and industrial partners, facilitating networking with key players in the European aeronautics landscape. Social and networking activities will further encourage fruitful discussions among all participants.
