Dr. Jean-Matthieu Senoner (Male) studied mechanical engineering at Technical University Munich (TUM). His PhD was dedicated to the Large-Eddy Simulation (LES) of dispersed two-phase flows in combustion chambers using a Lagrangian approach with the AVBP solver. After completing his PhD, he worked for almost two years at Exa Corp. on the aerodynamic optimization of heavy vehicles using numerical simulations based on the Lattice Boltzmann Method (LBM). Since joining Onera, he has been involved in dispersed two-phase flow simulations based on a Lagrangian formalism within the CEDRE platform with applications in combustion, solid propulsion, lubrication and particle ingestion in turbomachines.
