Tommaso Bellosta
(POLIMI)

Tommaso Bellosta is a Post Doctoral researcher at the Department of Aerospace Science and Technology at Politecnico di Milano. He obtained a bachelor, Master and PhD at Politecnico di Milano in 2016, 2019 and 2023, respectively. His research focus is on the development of novel numerical methods for in-flight ice accretion. He contributed to the development of both software and methodologies for Eulerian and Lagrangian particle tracking, mesh deformation, surface reconstruction and uncertainty quantification. He participated in international research efforts under the EU funded H2020 ICE-GENESIS project in developing numerical methods for 3D icing simulations. He collaborated with a large aerospace company by performed numerical icing simulations for the certification-by-simulation of a trainer military jet.
