Reda Kamal

(TUDA – POLIMI)

Reda Kamal was born in Pistoia in 1998. He started his academic path at the University of Florence in 2017 obtaining his Mechanical Engineering degree in 2020. His bachelor’s thesis focused on the cooling effects of impinging jets for aeronautical applications. Advancing his studies, he pursued a Master of Science in Aeronautical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, completing it in 2023. His Master’s thesis delved into the experimental and numerical characterization of a supersonic turbine linear cascade for ORC applications.
Currently, as an MSCA PhD student at TRACES, Reda dedicates his research to understanding heat transfer during droplet ice layer growth. He aims to develop a predictive model accurately describing the complex phenomena involved.
