Tenzin Tadin, of Tibetan origin, was born in India in 1997. He earned a Bachelor of Technology in Aerospace Engineering from Lovely Professional University (LPU), India. For his undergraduate thesis, he worked on the project “Decisive and Consistency Evaluation of Experimental and Computational Results for Finite Wings Among Selected NACA Airfoils.”

He later graduated from the Faculty of Aero-Mechanical and Flight Engineering at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT-FALT), specializing in Aerodynamics. His master’s thesis was titled “Numerical Investigation of Mini-Air-Jet Vortex Generators as an Active Transonic Aerodynamic Flow Control Method.”

Tenzin also pursued studies at the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech), completing one year in the MSc Applied Computational Mechanics program. During this time, he undertook an internship at Power Machines in Saint Petersburg, contributing to the project “Development of a Parametric Model of the Diffuser and Return Vanes of a Multi-Stage Pump for Design Optimization Using CFD Analysis Methods.”

Currently, Tenzin is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie PhD Fellow (DR12) within the TRACES project, where his research focuses on “Dynamics and Properties of an Ice Layer Formed by Solidification of Supercooled Water.”
