We are proud to share that Dr. Mariachiara Gallia (TU Braunschweig) has been awarded a prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship—one of the European Union’s most competitive and esteemed research grants, supporting talented researchers in advancing their careers through international, interdisciplinary, and intersectoral mobility.
The awarded project, RESET (REthinking in-flight icing modelS validation through intEgrated uncerTainty analysis), aims to refine the validation process for icing models using a novel statistical approach to address biases caused by uncertainties. By fostering continuous interaction between experimental testing and numerical simulations, RESET seeks to reduce the need for costly design and certification testing. The project will ultimately enhance the reliability of ice accretion simulations and provide more reliable tools for aerospace design and certification.
👏 Congratulations to Mariachiara on this important achievement!
