Technical Lectures
Renowned experts will provide in-depth training on in-flight icing, offering TRACES doctoral students critical knowledge essential for advancing their research. The lectures, highlighted in green on the agenda, are open to the public and will be streamed via Webex. Links are available in this document:
DCE and Doctoral Researcher Poster Session
On Tuesday, doctoral researchers will present their progress on the Design & Certify Exercise (DCE). Later in the day, they will showcase their ongoing research through a poster session, where they can engage in discussions with attendees about potential developments and research interests.
Experimental Labs
Doctoral researchers will participate in four lab sessions, focusing on experimental techniques related to icing and the use of numerical tools. These sessions are designed to enhance their practical skills and support their experimental research endeavors.
Social Events
Joint Dinner: A joint dinner will take place on Tuesday evening at Rheinische Republik, located at Neue Str. 10, 38100 Braunschweig, Germany. This event provides an opportunity for TRACES doctoral researchers and partners to connect in a relaxed, informal setting.
Pizza/Pasta Night: On Thursday night, the group will come together for a Pizza/Pasta Night at ISM, creating another chance for informal networking and socializing.
Social Activities and Night Out: The week will conclude on Friday with social activities in Braunschweig, followed by a night out for the TRACES doctoral researchers, offering a final opportunity to unwind and enjoy the city together.
